is a life-long resident if Rockaway Township and in 2018 served as Interim Mayor of Rockaway Township following the passing of Mayor Dachisen. Since his election to the Council in 2018, he introduced ordinances focusing on the preservation of and access to Rockaway’s public lakes and waterways. Adam represents the Council on the Mayor’s newly formed Water Quality Committee and is our representative on the Morris County Open Space Trust Fund. Adam is focused on continuing his work to protect and promote Rockaway’s natural resources as well as continuing to improve recreational, cultural and environmental initiatives within the Township.

has lived in both White Meadow Lake and in the “north-end” of our community, which gives him a unique perspective when making decisions.  Pawel has served as a councilmember since February of 2022.  He has two decades of law enforcement experience with the Jersey City Police Department, achieving the rank of Captain. His police experience and skills are directly translated into his role as a Rockaway Township Councilman, in particular his ability to actively listen, communicate effectively, problem solve, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Councilman Wojtowicz serves as a chairman on the Mayor's newly formed Public Safety Committee, applying his law enforcement experience to network with the community and Rockaway Townships first responders to work collaboratively to achieve meaningful change.
